This and That

- After neglecting this blog over the last few weeks (months?), I'm ready to get back into it.  I miss having a regular outlet to vent (or just ramble) and I'm missing all of you terribly!  Starting this week, I'm going to make it a priority to update more and keep better tabs on what the rest of you in Blogland are up to.  I'm also going to stop ending sentences with prepositions.  Or not.

- I've been at my new job a total of three weeks now and I'm really enjoying it so far!  Clinic work is totally different from L&D (I've moved from Baby Land to Speculum Land), but I'm home every night with Maddie and I'm able to take her to school every day.  It has been the answer to so many of my prayers and I am so thankful!

- Speaking of Maddie, 4th grade is now in full swing and we're slowly readjusting to being on a regular schedule.  She loves her classes and her teachers and is still in the Only Having to be Told Once to Get Out of the Bed in the Morning Stage, which is lovely; however, her attitude leaves a lot to be desired.  If this is only a fraction of what I'll be dealing with once puberty hits full force, I'm not sure we'll make it.  She is killing me!

- Remember in this post I told you that we were going to Walt Disney World in November and staying at the Old Key West Resort?   Well, we're still going, but we'll be staying here instead.  Why, you ask?  Because I'm an idiot and made the reservations for the wrong dates, that's why.  Luckily, there were still available 2 bedroom villas available so no one will have to sleep in the bathtub.  I really amaze myself sometimes.  And not in a good way.  Bless my heart.

- I got these shoes here for over $100 off yesterday.  I realize that they're summer and we're well on our way into fall (in theory, if not in actual temperature) but there was NO way I could pass these up.  Humor me and tell me how jealous you are and how cute they'll look on me.  And yes, I realize they're just glorified flip flops but they're going to give me at least 2 extra inches of height and that is HUGE for a girl who just barely make the cut to ride roller coasters.

YOU'RE ALIVE! I'm so glad you plan on blogging more, I've missed you!!!

I hate it to break it to you, but not all attitudes go away after the teen years. I'm 23 and still am too sassy for my own good. Whoops. But yay that she's still easy to get up in the morn-- I think at 6 my parents were coming in 121250 times ;)

I like the shoes, LOVE Tory Burch, but really? You saved 100 bucks on flip flops? WTF price were they to begin with?!?!?! Nonetheless, they'll look good on you, and that is all that matters!

You went and got this fancy new blog design and then you disappeared! LOL

LOVE the shoes! $100 off?! How can shoes possibly be expensive enough for you to get hem for $100 off?!

Glad to hear the new job is going great!!
